Wonder Woman, superheroine of fame, first burst on the scene as Princess Diana of Themyscira, in 1941, as a founding member of the Justice League. In 2023, however, she donated her car to Kars4Kids. Which Wonder Woman was this, you might wonder, being that “Diana Prince” as her alter ego is known, has been played by a long list of fabulous actresses.

Well, let’s see. There are the wonderful women who provided Wonder Woman’s voice for animated adaptations of the story: Shannon Farnon, Susan Eisenberg, Maggie Q, Lucy Lawless, Keri Russell, Rosario Dawson, Cobie Smulders, Rachel Kimsey and Stana Katic. But there are also the actresses who have played the superheroine on television and on the silver screen. That would be Linda Harrison, Cathy Lee Crosby, Lynda Carter, Megan Gale, Adrianne Palicki, and Gal Gadot.

Which Wonder Woman?

We figure we’ve kept you in suspense long enough about the identity of the Wonder Woman donor, so we’ll just out with it: It was Lynda Carter, whose television character doubled as an agent of the Inter-Agency Defense Command on the 1970s television series (1975-1979). Carter was born a full decade after Wonder Woman first burst on the scene in All Star Comics #8, published October 21, 1941. Since that time, Wonder Woman comics have been published by DC Comics almost continuously. The comic book series proved so popular that it was only natural that someone thought to adapt the story for movies and television.

But back to our story. You can only imagine the surprise of our indefatigable customer service representative, David Georgis, when Ms. Carter’s assistant called to donate the famous actress’ 2012 Range Rover Sport. It’s not every day you get a call from Wonder Woman’s right-hand lady.

Carter donation was every bit as “super” as her famous character. The car she donated is a 2012 Range Rover Sport with less than 60,000 miles. The car’s value is estimated at over $50,000! A wondrously generous donation, from a wonderful lady . . . er woman. Take a look!
