It was a cold but sunny day today in Manhattan as we unloaded our vans for a kids coat distribution with CBS Radio.

6 CBS stations were on hand to help promote ave aid with the distribution of 1,000 high quality kids coats. Representatives from WFAN 660, 92.3 NOW, fresh 102.7, 1010 WINS, WCBSFM 101.1, and WCBS 880 gathered in the Goddard Riverside’s Bernie Wohl Center for Youth Programs with coats for girls and boys.

The coats came in all colors and sizes, and Kars4Kids had balloons and candy on hand for the kids who showed up.

Over the course of the day lines of people could be seen in the large room, finding the correct sizes and choosing a color. Many parents expressed their gratitude for the warm coats as a blizzard bears down on the tri-state area.

What a wonderful day!
