Best boss candidate congratulates employee on job well done

We call this one “Best Boss in the World”  but that’s probably inaccurate. There is no way to know for sure that your amazing boss is the best boss in the world. Sure, you can use the phrase as a catchy idiom, but objectively speaking, how would you know your boss is the best boss in the world without knowing all the other bosses in the world (and their employees—basically the world’s entire workforce)? Still, we know when our bosses do something admirable–especially when “water cooler” talk reveals that the entire rest of the office feels the same way.

In the case of Kars4Kids, office talk has it that we really, really liked what happened at our last meeting. When we say “last meeting,” we mean that our CEO Eli Mintz meets periodically with each employee to hear how things are going. This time he asked, “What do you need to help you do your job?”

Goooooood Question

It was such a great question and accomplished many things at once. For one thing, we felt valued–he’d given us a forum, a platform to air our daily frustrations. But also, if you think about it, hearing what we need and why, was bound to be informative for our candidate for Best Boss of the World, Kars4Kids CEO Eli Mintz. It was a way for us to show him what we are doing on a daily basis to innovate, and help make Kars4Kids, the best car donation program around.
