At Kars4Kids, we aim to give you the best possible donation experience. We know that this means putting a human face to our staff, who are, after all, human. Today, we had a chat with Yehuda David, to learn more about what makes him tick. Next time you donate a car and he answers the phone, you can tell Yehuda you read all about him here!
Kars4Kids: What is your full work title?
Yehuda David: Customer service and sales.
Kars4Kids: When did you begin working at Kars4Kids and why?
Yehuda David: I started July of 2017 . My wife saw an ad, I sent in my resume and thank God, here I am.
Kars4Kids: How has Kars4Kids changed since you joined the team?
Yehuda David: I think my manager said that this year has been the best year yet at Kars4Kids. I hope that my contribution helped things change for the better.
Kars4Kids: Describe a typical workday for you at Kars4Kids.
Yehuda David: The work day starts at 3pm and goes on until 11pm. A little before 3pm I turn on my computer and go through my email. Then I review the calls that I want to make that day, and mark down the donations I received the day before. Next come the waves of calls.
Kars4Kids: How do you balance work and home life?
Yehuda David: I have my workroom where for the most part I have my privacy. I get to have dinner with the family every night so that is nice. I am thankful that I have kids who can take care of themselves and each other.
Kars4Kids: What do you love best about your job?
Yehuda David: I enjoy doing a good job and when the donor asks me my name that is very nice for me. If they say to me “what is your extension?”, that gives me a very good feeling, indeed.
