We made a great team at CitiField Stadium on Thursday: Bobby Parnell, Ricky Bones, Tom Goodwin and a dozen Kars4Kids campers. We came as part of the WFAN-sponsored Kids Clinic with the New York Mets.
The Mets coaches and players coached the group of children (wearing their signature yellow Kars4Kids tees and caps) on the baseball diamond while their parents and Kars4Kids leaders watched from the stands. The kids learned hands on how to pitch and hit like professionals, and had a great time!
Later that evening, we got to watch the Mets beat the Phillies 6-5!
