The day dawned cool and overcast as the Kars 4 Kids truck pulled out of Lakewood NJ for the four hour ride down to Silver Spring MD, a suburb of Washington DC.
Long ride non withstanding, the Kars 4 Kids team arrived cheerful and ready to go.
Waiting for us on the other end were employees of 6 CBS Radio stations 106.7 The Fan WJFK-FM, 95.5 WPGC-FM, 94.7 Fresh-FM, El Zol 107.9 FM, All News 99.1 WNEW-FM, and GOV.BIZ Radio 1580 AM, all set up and raring to go.
What an incredible event! It so amazing to be able to give back to a strong and inspiring community that is fighting through a very difficult economic climate.

It was a great day with holiday cheer, free coats, and good fun all around.

You have no idea how much I HATE that commercial! After hearing it for a year, it now incites violent thoughts into my head. I swear to you, one of these days I’m going to run amok and start bashing radios with an axe whenever this ad plays.
